Bufallow Arts and Crafts

Lameck Mlingo fell in love with design in primary school – choosing wood work, craft, and ceramics classes over sports. He has always loved the raw beauty of African animals, starting Bufallow Arts and Crafts with his wife in 2005 to marry his passion for hand-crafted art and the African wild. Many of his pieces are made of lead wood – a wood so dense that it sinks in water, and so durable that it can remain standing in perfect form for up to 80 years after the tree dies. His high quality work is unique, enduring, and distinctly African. He grows his company with a vision for job creation and a commitment to giving back to the provinces that inspire him.
